Growing without losing our soul

Growing without losing our soul

In a world where success is often measured by the number of locations or low-cost production, the dominant model too often pushes for sacrificing quality and craftsmanship. Yet, other paths exist—ones that are more respectful of flavor and the overall experience. These paths deserve to be heard.

Scaling, without losing our essence

Since its inception, De Belsch has chosen a path of measured growth: it’s not about chasing volume or yielding to industrialization. The brother-and-sister duo behind the project preferred to build a hybrid model between a food truck and a catering service, focusing on consistent quality, sincere flavors, and a close relationship with their clients.

For five years, they have catered events ranging from 30 to 200 guests, for both corporate and private receptions. Every preparation—croquettes, 'croque-monsieurs,' appetizers, and desserts—is crafted in their workshop using fresh ingredients. The promise: never to compromise on quality. Laurent-Nicolas and Anne-Catherine are personally present at every event, guaranteeing a well-managed service and a consistent experience from start to finish.

Choosing craftsmanship: a conscious economic decision.

Producing in-house, controlling raw materials, and limiting intermediaries: for De Belsch, this isn't a step backward, but a conscious and rigorous way to drive the company forward. This model requires a deeper human commitment, but it allows us to build a strong brand, deeply rooted in authenticity.

In 2024, the company was awarded the 'Made in Luxembourg' label, an official recognition of its local roots and artisanal production. As a member of the Federation of Artisans, they champion a responsible, high-quality gastronomy, free from the pressures of mass-production logic.

Another path is possible

Choosing not to 'scale' at all costs isn't a lack of ambition: it's choosing an ambition that lasts. In a sector under pressure, where industrialization grows at the expense of flavor, quality—and sometimes even health—De Belsch defends a different vision.

At De Belsch, we are convinced that it is possible to grow without ever betraying our values. This choice comes at a price: we don’t accept every request, and we don’t slash our rates. But it also holds a precious value: a reputation built patiently, dish after dish, client after client.

Today, the feedback is unanimous: 'It’s delicious, it’s generous, it’s sincere.

In five years, De Belsch has established itself as a credible and elegant alternative to traditional caterers. An artisanal, convivial, and demanding house that moves at its own pace, without ever losing sight of the essential: the pleasure of hosting well.
